I dont normally write reviews, but i had to, Dr Gold saved me. Amazing Dr, amazing staff….. if you need a caring, smart and amazing surgeon, then Dr Gold is your only option.

The 5 Stars is definitely not enough for Dr Darren. My teenage aged daughter Priscilla had 4 surgeries on the Pilonidal Sinus the wound was left open and never closed in 4 years she was a public patient in Melbourne. We were so desperate to have some closure mentally and Physically. I googled searched and Dr Darren Gold came up as the best in his field for Cleft Lift. Between a few emails and phone calls we finally had hope and closure. Dr Darren was amazing from start to finish. We still have one more appointment with him in November 2022. Dr was nothing but supportive would answer any emails or if we had any concerns after hours whilst we were staying in Sydney. My daughter can finally get into her Tennis with no restrictions. We are forever grateful to Dr Darren Gold , all the medical staff & admin staff. To whoever has ongoing issue with this problem please see Dr Darren. King regards Priscilla & Maryanna

I cannot express just how grateful I am to have been under the care of Dr Gold. Dr Gold has the most professional bedside manner (after all I’d previously been through before seeing Dr Gold, This was appreciated). He also took the time to explain everything in detail that I’d never previously heard about my condition & Most importantly; post surgery I now feel like I have a new lease on life. I can function again! I’ve been suffering for too long & only wish I’d seen him sooner!

Dr Gold was literally incredible in every way, his bed side manner is exceptional, he is kind, empathetic, and long term solutions focussed. His surgery outcome was incredible and he uses the best anaesthetist to provide the quickest recovery. His post operative care is comprehensive and throughout. There is no better in the business. Additionally his staff are amazing with outstanding support and true patient care. 10/10 Dr Gold is the best in the business.

Dr Darren Gold is just that, absolute gold. He helped me when I was at my lowest point in life and has given me straight, solid advice through multiple procedures since I had him personally reply to my initial enquiry when in desperate need of help. I honestly couldn't talk more highly of his manner both in office and in day-surgery. Along with the help of both Sharon and Julie his receptionists, Dr Gold turned my life around.

I recently moved to Sydney from Ireland and unfortunately had a medical issue that needed some urgent intervention. I was told by a GP to go to Prince of Wales hospital where the earliest I could get in was 3 weeks. I did my research online and reached out to DR Darren Golds office where they were extremely facilitating and got me in to meet Darren on two days. Darren is an expert in his field and was able to speak through the options with me. Given I was on several pain a procedure was necessary to solve my problem. Coming from Ireland and having international health insurance can be an issue with a lot of back and forth to ensure payment and coverage. Dr Darren home and his team could not be more helpful ensuring they took care of all of that for me ensuring we could get it over the line. From consultation to the operation was less then a week. Which you would find nowhere else. I’m 3 months post my procedure and I can honestly say I couldn’t recommend DR Darren gold more highly. After two follow ups as check ups to ensure I am all ok. From the operation itself to the service it made such a stressful time in my life an easier one and I can’t thank him enough.

Excellent Doctor explained everything in plain English. I took my friend who is a double amputee he was very knowledgeable and gave her all the options. She was very impressed and was recommended by a friend.

I wish I had seen Dr Darren Gold from the very beginning. I initially had surgery performed by another surgeon at Randwick Hospital, which turned out to be a huge mistake. That procedure left me in ongoing pain for nearly a year. After months of agony, I finally decided to seek a second opinion — and that decision changed everything. From the first consultation, Dr Gold was down-to-earth, calm, and genuinely caring. His bedside manner is outstanding. He took the time to explain the procedure clearly, set realistic expectations, and most importantly, made me feel heard and reassured. Unlike my previous experience, Dr Gold personally saw me both before and after surgery, which made an enormous difference to my confidence and recovery. The outcome has been excellent. Yes, I did have some out-of-pocket expenses even with insurance, but in hindsight I only wish I had gone to Dr Gold in the first place and avoided months of unnecessary pain and stress. Dr Darren Gold is extremely experienced, highly skilled, and above all, a genuinely good human being. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Darren is an amazing man! I had previously seen 5 surgeons and my history was extremely complex! This man did not promise me anything but with time and care, I got my life back with thanks to Darren! Could not fault my journey with him and would recommend him to everyone! He is the best!
